WSU film students flocked to the Media Lab in Old Main on May 2 in order to submit their films to the WSU Moving Media Film Festival and to edit their portfolio tapes before they graduate. There was only a handful of teaching assistants present to aid these students, but everyone who needed assistance was helped by one TA, Ian Raymond.

Despite wet and cold conditions many students attended the first annual KSCarnival sponsored by Student Government Friday May 2, 2008.

The idea for a carnival began a year-and-a-half ago, according to Dan Saucier, student government vice president. He said they never had the money to do it until this year because they saved money by not participating in Winter Weekend with Fire & Ice.
